Corpus With Cross style Gothic - Style en Wood / Plaster, Belgium 19 th century


Bressers-Blanchard, a crucifix with a Corpus Christi, sculpted and polychrome-patinated wood and plaster. Gothic Revival (L:77 x H:117 cm) Sculptured and polychrome patinated wood. A crucifix, decorated with floral motifs, finished with sculptured fleurs de lis. A patinated plaster Corpus Christi (H: 54 cm x W: 49 cm)   On the reverse with remnants of an old sticker, probably for the Guild of Saint Lucas.  On an image of the workshop of Bressers-Blanchard, the same crucifix is hanging from the ceiling. The image is added.
