Rare pair of armchairs designed by Werner Blaser (1924-2019), swiss architecte, designer and author of many books about Mies Van der Rohe and about architecture too. This armchairs are a tribute about carpenter joints (he wrote a book on this subject too). After a trip in Japan in 1953, he designed this pair of armchairs focusing on joints and contructivist design in the manner of Rietveld. In very good original condition, fruit wood and leather.
