A beautifully proportioned 18th-century Georgian chest of drawers, crafted from richly figured selected mahogany, with a superb aged patina. The chest features four long, oak-lined drawers with original pierced brass swan-neck handles, and a brushing slide—a refined detail typical of the period. Notable for its very compact size, this piece also displays re-entrant corners to the top, adding a subtle architectural elegance. Raised on original bracket feet, the overall condition is excellent with some old restorations in line with age and use. Hutton-Clarke Antiques is pleased to offer this impressive, large French oak hallstand, circa 1900.
A grand and highly decorative example in solid oak, retaining all its original fittings. The design features a central bevelled mirror framed by carved scrollwork and mouldings, surrounded by an abundance of turned hat and coat hooks arranged across the upper and side sections.
Below are twin stick or umbrella receptacles with their original removable drip trays, supported by turned columns and shaped lower rails. The hallstand displays good carving, crisp detailing, and a warm, even colour throughout.
Generously proportioned, this piece makes a striking entrance statement while remaining highly functional—perfect for a spacious hallway or period interior. A fine, authentic example in excellent condition.

The detailed engravings and floral motifs are finely worked in relief on a metal base, framed with a silvered border and supported on ornate scrolled feet. A superb example of Anglo-Indian craftsmanship, likely made in Agra for the tourist or Grand Tour market, showcasing intricate artistry and rich historical appeal. Circa 1880.

A rare and decorative early 19th-century mahogany torchère, later converted to a standard lamp. The column is finely carved with elongated lotus leaves and moulded roundels, rising from a triform base with bold gilt paw feet and a central carved motif to the upright. The rich mahogany surface has developed a deep patina, beautifully offset by the original parcel gilding to the base.

A striking and elegant lamp that showcases refined Georgian design with excellent decorative presence.

A fine George III Chippendale period hanging wall shelf in mahogany, dating to around 1770. The piece features an open fretwork design to the sides with classic Gothic lattice panels and a shaped apron below the top shelf. The lower section is fitted with a row of five small drawers, each with original brass axe handles and outlined in a finely carved rope moulding, typical of mid-18th-century craftsmanship. Outer edges have a foliate carved border. The best Cuban mahogany has developed a rich, warm patina, enhancing its elegant proportions and timeless appeal.

Originally made for cooling wine bottles, this versatile piece also makes an impressive log bin or planter.
